    1 - 27oz  can mild green, (whole) chilis
    1 lb  Monterey Jack cheese
    5  Eggs
    1 1/4 cups  Milk
    1/2 t  salt
    Dash  pepper
    4 cups  grated cheddar, (1 lb)

Slit green chilis on one side.
Remove seeds & drain.

Slice mj cheese in 1/4 slices and place chilis. Place in an ungreased 3 at baking dish. Mix eggs, milk, etc. pour over chilis. Toss with cheddar. Can be made the day ahead.
