Aunt Laurann's Breakfast Chili Relleno

1 - 27oz | can mild green, (whole) chilis |
1 lb | Monterey Jack cheese |
5 | Eggs |
1 1/4 cups | Milk |
1/2 t | salt |
Dash | pepper |
4 cups | grated cheddar, (1 lb) |
Slit green chilis on one side.
Remove seeds & drain.
Slice mj cheese in 1/4 slices and place chilis. Place in an ungreased 3 at baking dish. Mix eggs, milk, etc. pour over chilis. Toss with cheddar. Can be made the day ahead.
