Irene's Soda Bread

| 1 cup | White Raisins |
| 3 cups | All Purpose Flour |
| 1 tsp | Baking Powder |
| 1 tsp | Baking Soda |
| 0.25 cup | Sugar |
| 2 | Eggs |
| 1.5 cups | Buttermilk |
| 1 tsp | Salt |
| 3 tsp | Melted Butter |
NOTE: to adjust for altitude I increased both baking powder and soda to 3/4 tsp
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease loaf pan
Wash raisins and let moisten
Sift dry ingredients together into mixing bowl. Add eggs, stirring slowly with WOODEN spoon. Slowly stir in buttermilk and melted butter. Stir in raisins.
Bake 1 hr 10 min (1 hr in higher elevations)
