Lasagna Soup

1 lb | ground beef or Italian sausage |
1 sm | onion, chopped |
minced garlic to taste | |
16 oz | tomato sauce |
28 oz | crushed tomatoes |
3 | chicken bouillon cubes |
1 | beef bouillon cube |
1 tsp | basil |
1 tsp | oregano |
1/2 tsp | thyme |
10 | broken lasagna noodles |
shredded mozzarella cheese | |
Parmesan cheese |
DIRECTIONS:
1. Brown meat, onion and garlic; drain fat
2. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, bouillon cubes, seasonings and 5 cups water
3. Heat to boiling
4. Simmer uncoverd for 30 minuts (4 to 5 hours in slow cooker)
5. Add noodles and cook until tender
6. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses
