Chicken Stroganoff
Nb persons: 4
1 lb. | chicken breast, boneless-skinless |
2 tbsp. | whipped butter |
1/2 cup | onion, chopped |
1 cup | mushrooms canned, 4 oz. |
2 tbsp. | flour |
1 tsp. | table salt |
1/4 tsp. | black pepper |
1/2 cup | tomato sauce canned |
1 cup | chicken bouillon cubes |
1/2 cup | sour cream low fat |
2 cups | rice |
*Cut chicken into small pieces, brown in butter, onion, salt, and pepper.
*Add tomato sauce, mushrooms, and chicken bouillon.
*Cover, and cook over low heat until meat is tender (30 min.).
*Blend flour with a little water, add to pan and cook stirring until sauce is smooth.
*Add sour cream off heat, stir to blend well and serve over rice.
