Tom's Mashed Potatoes

5 large | red potatoes, peeled and quartered |
2 ounces | butter |
4 ounces | chedder cheese, shredded |
1/4 cup | sour cream |
pepper, to taste |
Place potatoes in a pot of boiling water for and simmer for about one hour or until soft. Discard water, add rest of the ingredients and beat until smooth.
