| green leaf lettuce, rinse and put into salad spinner or dry well | |
| red leaf lettuce, rinse and put into salad spinner or dry well | |
| spinach, rinse and put into salad spinner or dry well | |
| 4 | water chestnuts, sliced |
| ¼ cup | coarsely chopped almonds |
| 2 slices | red onion, separated into rings |
| ½ | avocado, sliced |
| 2 tablespoons | bacon, cooked and chopped |
| ¼ cup | mandarin oranges, drained |
Combine ingredients in a large bowl. Add salad dressing, such as sour cream salad dressing (recipe on page ?) or Italian-anchovy dressing (recipe on page ?) and toss.
