2 packages | vanilla pudding, (3 oz instant) |
3 cups | milk |
1 (8 ounce) container | Cool Whip |
5 tablespoons | butter |
1 cup | sugar |
1/3 cup | milk |
1 cup | chocolate chips |
1 teaspoon | vanilla |
1 16 oz box | Graham crackers |
In a medium bowl, thoroughly blend the pudding mix and milk until it starts to thicken. Fold in whipped topping.
Arrange a single layer of graham cracker squares in the bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan. Evenly spread half of the pudding mixture over the crackers. Top with another layer of crackers and the remaining pudding mixture. Top with a final layer of graham crackers.
Mix butter, milk and sugar. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips and vanilla, stir until smooth. Pour over graham cracker layer while warm, spread quickly. Cover and chill at least 4 hours before serving.
