Pecan pie

Pie : | |
1 1/4 cup | flour |
1 tbsp | sugar |
1/4 tsp | salt |
1/4 cup | vegetable oil |
1/4 cup | cold water |
Filling : | |
1/2 cup | sugar |
3 | eggs |
1 cup | corn syrup |
1 tbsp | melted butter |
2 tsp | vanilla |
1 1/4 cup | pecan,, ( half) |
Preheat oven @ 350 degree
In medium bowl mix flour, sugar , salt
Spread oil over gently mixing with fork
Mix till oat like appearance
Gradually add 3 table spoons of water to form ball
Flatten ball put in between wax paper freeze for 20 minutes
In a blender :
Beat eggs and sugar then add corn syrup, butter, vanilla then add pecans
Get dough out of freezer and place between wax paper
Roll to pie size
remove top wax paper
Insert into pie dish
Put filling in pie
Cook until crust is golden brown ( approx. 40 mins )
Place pie on grill for cooling
