Spinach Salad

Salad | |
1 pound | fresh spinach |
¼ cup | strawberries, quartered or halved |
¼ pound | bean sprouts |
½ pound or 1 cup | green grapes |
¼ cup | bacon, crisped and crumbled |
Dressing | |
¼ cup | vegetable oil |
1/3 cup | white wine vinegar |
¾ cup | sugar |
1 teaspoon | salt |
1 teaspoon | Worcestershire sauce |
1 medium | onion, grated, (mostly juice) |
Salad: Clean spinach and remove stems. Add strawberries, bean sprouts, grapes, and bacon. Toss.
Dressing: Mix together well oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and onion. Pour over spinach salad and toss.
A delicious salad for a light lunch or dinner. Makes a nice luncheon salad. From Judy Viviano.
