Whipped Cream Frosting

| 4 tbsp. | all-purpose flour |
| 1/2 cup | butter |
| 1 cup | milk |
| 1 cup | sugar |
| 1/2 cup | vegetable shortening |
| 2 tsp. | vanilla extract |
Heat milk and flour over medium heat until thick.
Set aside to cool.
Beat butter and shortening 4 minutes.
Add sugar gradually and beat 4 minutes.
Add cooled paste and beat 4 minutes.
Add vanilla and beat till blended.
