| 1 1/2 cups | sugar |
| 1/2 cup | oil |
| 1/2 cup | unsweetened applesauce |
| 4 | ripe bananas, mashed |
| 1/2 cup | milk |
| 1 teaspoon | vanilla extract |
| 3 cups | flour |
| 2 teaspoons | baking soda |
| 1/2 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | cinnamon |
1 cup chopped nuts...your choice, optional
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Blend all the ingredients together well, except cinnamon and 2 tbsp sugar. The batter will be lumpy.
This recipe makes two regular size loaves.
Before adding the batter to the pans, you need to spray them. Then take cinnamon and sugar mixed together (4 tablespoons sugar and 3 teaspoon cinnamon) and sprinkle the entire pan, bottom and sides...save some for the top of the bread.
Divide the batter equally between the pans. Before popping in the oven, sprinkle the tops of all the loaves with the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Bake about 50 mins or until toothpick is clean.
