Macaroon Kisses

1/3 cup | butter, softened |
4oz | cream cheese |
3/4 cup | sugar |
1 | egg yolk |
2 tsp | almond extract |
1 1/2 cup | flour |
2 tsp | baking powder |
1/2 tsp | salt |
5 cups | flaked coconut, divided |
48 chocolate kisses
Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg yolk and extract. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix well. Cover and place in fridge for about an hour.
Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in remaining coconut. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately press one chocolate kiss into center of cookies.
Cool in pan for a couple of minutes and remove to wire rack.
