Blueberry Muffins

| 1/2 cup | shortening |
| 1 cup | sugar |
| 3 | eggs |
| 1 3/4 cup | flour |
| 2 teaspoons | baking powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon | salt |
| 1/2 cup | milk |
| 1 teaspoon | vanilla |
| 1 pint | blueberries, fresh (or 1 box frozen or 1 can drained blueberries) |
Preheat oven to 375°
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy. Sift flour, powder and salt. Add alternately With milk to creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Beat thoroughly. Fold in blueberries. Turn into greased and floured cupcake tins.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
