Crab Imperial

    1/3 medium  green pepper, chopped very fine
    1/2 small jar  pimiento, chopped fine
    1 teaspoon  dry mustard
    1/2 teaspoon  salt
    1  egg
    1/3 cup  mayonnaise
    1 pound  crab, lump or backfin
    1/2 teaspoon  old bay seasoning
      mayonnaise & paprika for topping

Preheat oven to 350°

Mix green pepper and pimiento, add mustard, salt, old bay, egg, and mayo. Mix well. Add crab meat and mix with fingers so lumps to not break.

Divide into 4 small oven proof dishes (custard cups). Top with a light coating of mayonnaise and sprinkle with paprika. Bake 30 minutes.
