Famous from the McDonald's song, the Big Macs has been popular for decades. Burger King currently has a similar sandwich, known as the BK Stacker. Here is a recipe for a McDonald's Big Mac.
      Sandwich
1 regular  sized sesame seed bun
    1 regular  sized plain bun
2  beef patties, (2 ounces each flattened to bun size)
2 tablespoons  Big Mac sauce, (recipe follows)
    2 teaspoons  reconstituted onions
    1 slice  real American cheese
    2 slices  hamburger pickle
    1/4 cup  shredded lettuce
Sauce, To be added to sandwich
    1/4 cup  mayonnaise
    2 tablespoons  french salad dressing
    1/2 tablespoon  sweet relish
    2 teaspooons  dill pickle relish
    1 teaspoon  sugar
1 tablespoon  very finely chopped onions
    1 teaspoon  white vinegar
    1 teaspoon  ketchup
    1/8 teaspoon  salt

1 Mix all of the sauce ingredients together, make sure there are NO streaks and store it in the refrigerator for about an hour before using. This allows the flavors to blend.
2 Take the top of the regular bun and toss it away (you don't need this part). However, you need to keep the bottom of it.
3 Toast the other 3 individual buns. Do this to the both sides of the regular bun bottom and toast the sesame bun as usual (the inner sides).
4 Cook the beef patties. You can cook it however you wish and to your preference on a cooked level (rare to well done).
5 Take the bottom of the regular bun and the bottom of the sesame bun and put 1 tablespoon of the sauce on them.
6 Put 1/8 cup of the lettuce onto each sauced bun. Also, on the very bottom bun (the sesame), place a slice of cheese on top of
the lettuce. On the regular bun, put the pickle slices on the lettuce.
7 Stack each burger on top of the condiments (cheese and pickles).
8 Pick up, carefully, the regular bun (with everything) and stack it on the bottom
