Season chicken pieces in soy, generous amount of pepper and corn starch. Stir fry julienned ginger in a generous amount of sesame oil. When fragrant, add chicken and fry till cook. Add hard wood ear. |
Add water and simmer till chicken is tender. Add MSG if needed.
Serve in a bowl. Add pepper and 1 tbsp of brandy.
