Orzo Rice Pilaf

¼ cup | butter |
1 cup | orzo |
2-3 tablespoons | onions, minced |
1 cup | converted rice |
2-3 tablespoons | mushrooms, chopped |
3½ cups | chicken stock |
1-3 | chicken bouillon cubes |
In a 2 quart pan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add orzo and onion; cook until golden, stirring often, about 7 minutes. Add converted rice and mushrooms. Continue sautéing for another 3 minutes. Stir in chicken stock or water, and chicken bouillon. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 30 minutes.
