Not Mrs. Field's Chocolate Chip Cookies

| 1 cup | butter |
| 1 cup | sugar |
| 1 cup | brown sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 teaspoon | vanilla |
| 2 cups | flour |
| 2½ cups | oatmeal, (measure first, then put oatmeal in processor until it turns to powder |
| ½ teaspoon | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | baking soda |
| 1 teaspoon | baking powder |
| 1 12-ounce bag | chocolate chips |
| 1 4-ounce | milk chocolate bar, grated |
Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. In another bowl mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips, grated chocolate. Make golf ball sized cookies and place on an ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375?F for 6-10 minutes. DO NOT LET GET BROWN!
Makes 4 dozen.
