| 2 lbs | frozen hash browns, southern style. Let thaw for 30 minutes or more. |
| 1 | onion, diced |
| 1 can | cream of chicken soup |
| 1 lb | sour cream |
| 1 stick | butter, melted |
| 8 oz | shredded cheddar cheese |
| dash | salt |
| dash | pepper |
| Mix all together. Place in a greased 9 X 13 baking pan. Bake at 375 for 1 hour. | |
