1 package | crescent rolls |
1 pound | hamburger |
1 package | taco seasoning |
1 8-oz. can | tomato sauce |
1 8-oz. package | shredded cheddar cheese, (or your choice of cheese) |
Use shredded lettuce, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, taco sauce, and sour cream for toppings or any/all taco toppings of your choice.
Roll out crescent rolls flat (so it looks like a square pie crust) in 9 X 13 pan, pierce crust with fork and bake until lightly browned (475 degree oven).
While the crust is baking, cook hamburger, drain grease, add taco seasoning and tomato sauce, mix and heat to boiling.
Place cooked hamburger on top of baked crescent roll crust, top with shredded cheese, place pan back in oven just long enough to melt cheese.
Remove from oven, cut into serving size and top with your favorite taco toppings and enjoy. Serve Spanish rice as a side dish.
I usually double the recipe and bake it on a large jelly roll pan.
