Bacon Meatballs

1 small | onion, very coarsely chopped |
3 slices | bacon, very coarsely chopped |
2 cloves | garlic |
1/4 C | fresh parsley |
1 pound | ground chuck |
1/2 C | Parmesan, (2 oz) |
3 T | bread crumbs |
1 large | egg |

pepper |
Heat broiler. In food processor combine onion, bacon, garlic and parsley. Pulse until finely chopped. Transfer to med bowl, add beef, Parmesan, bread crumbs, egg, 1/2 t salt and 1/4 t pepper. Mix gently to combine.
Form into 16 meatballs and place on foil lined rimmed baking sheet. Broil turning once until cooked through, 10-12 mins. Serve over pasta with sauce and shaved Parmesan.
