Mary Jo’s Version of Mom’s Chicken and Turkey Rice Stuffing

1 ½ to 2 cups | rice |
3 medium | onions, chopped |
2 ½ pounds | ground beef |
½ teaspoon | poultry dressing seasoning |
¼ teaspoon | sage |
½ cup | grated cheese, then add to taste |
Cook rice, but don’t overcook. Saute onion and ground beef. Add rice, poultry dressing, sage, and grated cheese. Stir. Stuff chicken or turkey.
Note: This makes enough for a 20 pound turkey.
Thanksgiving is not Thanksgiving without this Italian stuffing from Mary Jo Tye.
