Lebanese Shish Kebob

Kebab | |
2 pounds | lamb, cut into cubes (steak and chicken also work well) |
1 large | onion, quartered |
1 large | green pepper, cored and seeded |
18 | cherry tomatoes |
Marinade | |
1 | onion, finely sliced |
2 tablespoons | olive oil |
3 tablespoons | fresh lemon juice |
salt | |
freshly ground pepper | |
2 | garlic cloves |
½ teaspoon | cinnamon |
lemon quarters
Marinade: Combine all marinade ingredients, mixing very well. Pour over the lamb cubes (or other meat) and coat well. Cover and chill for 8-24 hours.
