1/2cup | granulated sugar |
1 1/2tsp. | ground cinnamon |
2 3/4cups | all-purpose flour |
1 3/4tsp. | cream of tartar |

1/4tsp. | salt |
1/2cup | Blue Bonnet®-stick, (1/2 cup = 1 stick) |
1/2cup | shortening |
1 1/3cups | granulated sugar |
2 | eggs |
1pkg. (10 oz each) | cinnamon baking morsels |
Directions Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in small bowl; set aside. Beat Blue Bonnet and shortening until creamy in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed. Add 1-1/3 cups sugar; beat well. Add eggs one at a time; beat well. Mix in flour until blended. Stir morsels in with a spoon. Roll dough into 1-1/4-inch balls; roll each ball in cinnamon-sugar to coat. Place 3 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until bottoms are barely golden. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; transfer to wire racks. Cool completely.
