Almond Butter Balls - 2 PP

1 cup | butter or margarine |
3 tablespoons | powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons | vanilla |
3 cups | all-purpose flour |
1/8 teaspoon | salt |
3/4 cup | almonds, blanched toasted, diced |
1 cup | powdered sugar |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine flour, butter, sugar, salt and vanilla. Stir in toasted, chopped almonds. Form into 72 small balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes (just until they beging a little brown on the bottom). Cool on rack or paper. While still warm, roll or shake with powdered sugar. When all cookies are coated, sift any remaning sugar over their tops. |
