Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

1 8-ounce can | refrigerated crescent dinner rolls |
cream cheese | |
½ cup | ham, finely chopped |
2 tablespoons | green onions, finely chopped |
Separate dough into 4 rectangles; press perforations to seal. Spread with cream cheese. Sprinkle with ham and onion, pressing lightly. Roll up, starting at short end; seal edges. Cut each roll into four slices. Place, cut-side down, on an ungreased cookie sheet, flattening slightly.
Bake at 375?F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
*I like to use one of the "flavored" soft cream cheeses (e.g. chives and onion Philadelphia cream cheese and then I just omit the green onions since that cream cheese is "onioney" enough).
Makes 16.
