4-4 1/2c | flour |
2pkg | yeast |
3T | sugar |
1t | salt |
1 1/4c | milk |
1/4c | water |
1/4c(1/2 stick) | butter |
1 | egg |
Combine flour (2c), yeast, sugar and salt, mix well. In saucepan heat milk, water and butter until warm. Add liquid and egg to flour. Blend at low speed until moistened. Blend at medium speed 3 min. Gradually stir in remaining flour by hand to make dough firm. Knead on lightly floured board until smooth and elastic. (3-5 min) let rise in greased bowl covered until double.
Warm oven: turn oven to lowest setting for 1 min-turn off
15 min shape. Let rise 10 min. Bake at 400* for 10 min.
