Gen Tso's sauce (catlin's)

| 1/4 C | sugar |
| 1/4 C | soy sauce |
| 1/2 C | water |
| 1 T | corn starch |
| 1/2 tsp | minced garlic |
| 1/2 tsp | red pepper flakes |
Combine all ingredients except corn starch and water. Bring to a boil. Combine water and corn starch. Add to rest of ingredients. Reduce sauce.
