Confectioners sugar | |
1lg | egg yolk |
2T | brandy |
1/2t | almond extract |
4c | flour |
1. Preheat oven to 350*
2. Beat butter and 3/4c confectioners sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolk, brandy and almond extract.
At low speed beat in 2c flour. With wooden spoon, stir in 2 more c flour 1/2 c at a time until blended.
3. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 18-20 min until pale golden. Transfer to wire racks. Sift sugar over hot cookies. Cool.
