First Family Egg Nog

    1c  bourbon, (sub 1c water & 1 1/2 t bourbon extract)
    1T  vanilla extract
    3c  heavy cream
    3 1/2 - 4 c  milk
    1T  nutmeg
6 eggs separated
    1 3/4 c  sugar divided
    1/2 c  rum, (sub 1 c water or milk and 1t rum extract)
    1c  brandy, ( sub 1c water or milk and 1/2t brandy extract)

In large bowl, beat egg yolks with 1/4 c sugar until light and frothy. Stir in rum, brandy, bourbon and vanilla. Chill 2-3 hrs. Stir in cream. Gradually stir in milk to desired consistency. In large bowl beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add remaining 1/2c sugar beating until stiff and glossy but not dry. Fold egg whites into eggnog. Chill until serving time. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve at once.
