Deedee's Marianated Shrimp

2 pounds | shrimp |
1 | lemon, thinly sliced |
1 | red onion, sliced thinly (regular onion will work) |
½ cup | pitted black olives |
2 tablespoons | pimento, chopped |
½ cup | lemon juice |
¼ cup | oil |
1 tablespoon | wine vinegar |
1 clove | garlic, crushed |
1/2 | bay leave, cut up |
1 tablespoon | dry mustard |
¼ teaspoon | cayenne, (red) pepper |
salt and pepper to taste |
Cook shrimp. Drain. Put in bowl. Add lemon and onion. Drain olives and pimento, toss together. In another bowl mix well lemon juice, oil, vinegar, spices and herbs. Pour over shrimp mixture. Stir together. Cover bowl. Let sit in refrigerator at least 2 hours. Best overnight. Stir once in a while.
