Chinese Chicken Wings

    36  chicken wings, cut into two
    1 cup  soy sauce
    ½ cup  white sugar
    1 cup  packed dark brown sugar
    1 teaspoon  Chinese 5 spice powder


Line shallow roasting pans with heavy duty foil. Spray with nonstick spray. Place wings in single layer in pans. Mix the soy sauce, sugar, brown sugar, and Chinese 5 spice powder until the sugars are dissolved. Pour over wings.

Bake at 325?F for 30 minutes. Turn wings over. Bake 30 minutes longer; turn again, and bake 20 minutes longer, until chicken wings are very tender and mahogany colored. (Total baking time: 1 hour, 20 minutes).

Make 72 pieces (36 chicken wings cut in two)
