Brisket - Joan Notes

3 lb | Beef brisket |
1 T | olive oil |
4 | carrots |
1 medium | onion |
8 ounce | mushroom |
1/2 lb | small potatoes |
2 T | ketchup |
2 T | Chili Powder |
1 T | fresh ginger |
salt | |
pepper to taste |
Trim brisket of fat
Pan sear (starting with the fatty side) in olive oil and let it sit - don't agitate
Flip and pile on onions, ketchup, chilipwder, ginger (if using) salt and pepper.
Close Lid
Add mushrooms.
