1 cup | butter, softened |
1 cup | sugar |
2 | eggs |
1/4 cup | half and half cream |
3 cups | all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons | baking powder |
1 teaspoon | baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon | salt |
1: In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in cream.
2: Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to cream mixture and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or until easy to handle.
3: On a lightly floured surface, roll it dough to 1/8 inch in thickness. Cut with floured cookie cutters. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets.
4: Bake at 325 F for 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
