Quick Apple Crisp

| 5 | granny smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced into rings |
| 1 package (9 oz.) | yellow cake mix |
| 2 tablespoons | sugar |
| 1 tablespoon | cinnamon |
| 1/4 cup | butter, melted |
| margarine, alternative |
-Preheat oven to 350 F. Cut apple slices crosswise in half. Place in greased 9 inch square baking pan; sprinkle with dry cake mix. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over cake mix. Drizzle with butter. Bake 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve with ice cream if desired.
Yield: 9 Servings.
