Baked Shrimp

1 cup (2 sticks) | butter, melted |
¼ cup | dry white wine |
¼ cup | parsley, minced |
2 tablespoons | fresh lemon juice |
3 large | garlic cloves minced |
2 teaspoons | basil |
1 teaspoon | Worcestershire sauce |
¾ to 1 teaspoon | hot pepper sauce |
½ teaspoon | salt |
2 pounds large | shrimp, shelled and deveined |
½ cup | dry unseasoned bread crumbs |
Preheat oven to 450?F.
Combine butter, wine, parsley, lemon juice, garlic, basil, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, and salt in shallow 2-quart baking dish and mix well. Remove ¼ cup of this mixture and set aside.
Add shrimp to baking dish and mix thoroughly with butter sauce mixture. Combine bread crumbs with reserved butter sauce and sprinkle over shrimp. Bake 10-15 minutes. Serve immediately.
