Bacon Roll-Ups

| 1 can | whole water chestnuts |
| 1 pound | bacon |
| soy sauce | |
| maple syrup |
Marinade water chestnuts overnight in equal parts of soy sauce and syrup, enough to cover the water chestnuts. Wrap ½ strip bacon around water chestnut and secure with toothpick.
Bake at 250?-300?F in broiler pan until bacon is done. Baste occasionally with marinade.
Serves 6.
