Apple Cake

| 1/2 cup | margarine |
| 2 cups | sugar |
| 2 tsp. | cinnamon |
| 2 tsp. | soda |
| 2 | eggs |
| 2 cups | sifted flour |
| 4 | diced, peeled apples |
| 1 tsp. | vanilla |
| Pinch | salt |
| 1/2 cup | nuts |
| Frosting: | |
| 8 oz. | cream cheese |
| 1 1/2 cups | powdered sugar |
| 3 tbsp. | margarine |
| Salt | |
| vanilla to taste | |
Cake Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, dry ingredients, vanilla, apples and nuts. Batter will be very stiff & dry. Press into 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
Frosting Directions:
Blend ingredients.
Frost cooled cake
