Pat's First Quinoa Recipe
    1 cup  quinoa, (rinsed)
    1 3/4 cup  water
    1/2 cup  diced onion
    16 oz  refried beans, ( I used low fat vegetarian)
    1 1/2 Tbsp  veg oil

McCormick Perfect Pinch roasted garlic and bell pepper seasoning to taste

In large skillet heat oil and diced onions 4-5 minutes
Add quinoa and cook 1 minute
add water and seasoning, stir, bring to boil, simmer 15 min. covered
add refried beans, recover and heat on low for 5 minutes
(if desired, add diced turkey or chicken during last step)
