Pickled Carrots

PICKLED DILL CARROTS | |
30 sm. | carrots |
2 c. | water |
1 1/3 c. | sugar |
2/3 c. | white vinegar |
4 tsp. | pickling spices |
Wash, scrape, remove tops from 30 small carrots. Cook until tender, drain. Combine water, sugar, vinegar. Add spices tied in cheesecloth bag.
Bring vinegar mixture to boiling. Pour over carrots. Simmer 3 minutes. Pack in sterilized jars. Add... spray of dill to each jar. Seal immediately.
