APPETIZERS - Sweet potato puffs

15 ozs yams (drained) 16 ozs crescent dinner rolls (pillsbury refrigerated) | |
1 cup | sugar |
1/2 cup | butter |
1 cup | sprite |
cinnamon | |
1 Drain yams and mash. Sprinkle in cinnamon to your taste. 2 Roll out crescents. 3 Put a spoonful of yam mixture in middle and fold to form a puff. Place in casserole dish. 4 Bring butter, sugar and Sprite to a boil. Pour on top of puffs. | |
5 Sprinkle | cinnamon on top. |
6 Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until crescents are golden brown.
