Ann Fazano conversions: Flour 4 cups = 1 pound sugar. 2 1/2 cups = 1 pound Spry. 2 cups = 1 pound 1 dozen jumbo eggs (15 large eggs) | |
1/2 pound | melted crisco |
1/2 bottle | anise |
2 cups | sugar |
1/3 bottle | lemon extract |
6 tbsp | baking powder |
2 1/2 to 3 pounds | flour |
Beat eggs, add sugar and spry, add flavoring, add 1/2 flour then add baking pwd and remaining flour
Cool off crisco a little then mix and knead on the board
Bake 6 - 8 minutes @ 350 - 375*
