Whipped Cream Icing

1 Tsp | gelatin |
4 Tsp | cold water |
1 C | whipping cream |
1/4 C | icing sugar |
1/2 Tsp | vanilla |
Combine gelatin and cold water in a small sauce pan. Let stand until thick. Place over low heat stir constantly until gelatin dissolves (3 min.) Remove from heat and cool slightly. Beat cream, sugar and vanilla until slightly thick. While beating slowly add gelatin to cream. Whip at high speed until thick.
