Slow Roast Lamb You will need: Half Shoulder/Leg of Lamb | |
Carrots | |
Parsnip | |
Garlic | |
1Pint | Chicken Stock |
Rosemary, (a few sprigs) |
1. Place Lamb Fat side down & sprinkle with seasoning, garlic & rosemary
2. Chop carrots and parsnips (chunky) and place in bottom of roaster
3. Place Lamb on top of veg
4. Pour 1 pint of chicken stock into roaster
5. Cover tight with foil and place in oven 150 degrees for 3 hrs
6. last half hour, drain off meat and keep juices for gravy
7. put back in oven without foil to crisp up the lamb, turn oven up to 200
8. Serve with roast potatoes, and veg with a lamb & mint gravy(oxo make a good one in a packet!!!!!!!)
