Cornbread

2 cups | cornmeal |
1 tsp | baking soda & powder |
Big pinch | salt, about 2 tsp. |
2 | eggs, whisked lightly |
2 cups | buttermilk |
4 Tbsp | butter melted |
Mix dry ingredients together, whisk wet ingredients just until mixed, fold wet ingredients into dry - pour into seasoned cast iron skillet, bake in 375 oven about 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
While cooking melt the remaining 4 Tbsp butter with 3 Tbsp sugar. Pour over top of cooked cornbread before slicing to glaze.
