Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits

2 1/2 C | Bisquick baking mix |
3/4 C | cold whole milk |
4 T | cold butter, (1/2 stick) |
1/4 t | garlic powder |
1 heaping C | grated cheddar cheese |
Brush on Top | |
2 T | butter, melted |
1/4 t | dried parsley flakes |
1/2 t | garlic powder |
Pinch | salt |
Preheat oven to 400. Combine cold butter and Bisquick using fork or pastry cutter. DON'T mix thoroughly. There should be small chunks of butter about pea size. Add cheese, milk and 1/4 t garlic. Mix by hand until combined, but don't over mix.
Drop about a 1/4 cup portion onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 15-17 mins until the tops begin to turn light brown. Upon taking them out of the oven, melt 2 T butter and stir in 1/2 t garlic powder and parsley and brush on top. Makes 1 dozen.
