Norwegian Breakfast Casserole

In a 9" X 13" pan melt: | |
1 1/2 cups | butter |
1/2 cup | brown sugar |
2 Tbsp | karo syrup |
Add: | |
15 slices | French bread in 2 layers. |
Mix together: | |
5 | eggs |
1 1/2 cups | milk |
1 tsp | vanilla |
Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate over night.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle with cinnamon
Serve plain or with maple syrup
