Lentil Soup with Ham & Bacon

| 8 cups | beef broth |
| 1 cup | carrot, (s) chopped |
| 2 cups | ham chopped |
| ¾ cup | celery chopped |
| ½ cup | onion chopped |
| 6 ounces | chopped tomatoes canned |
| ½ teaspoon | dried marjoram |
| 1½ pounds | lentils dry |
| 2 teaspoons | salt |
| 2 teaspoons | pepper |
| 1 cup | bacon chopped |
Directions
Coat bottom of a skillet with olive oil and place on stovetop set to medium heat.
Sauté bacon until firm; remove from heat. Add bacon and remaining ingredients to stoneware.
