Chocolate Chex Carmel Crunch

1 box | Chocolate Chex® cereal |
2 cups | pretzels |
2 cups | pecan halves |
1 cup | packed brown sugar |
1 cube | butter |
1/4 cup | light corn syrup |
1/2 teaspoon | baking soda |
1. Place cereal, pretzels and pecans Into a large bowl.
2. Heat sugar, syrup and butter over low heat until butter melts. Increase heat to medium high until bubbly. Simmer 2 1/2 minutes. Stir in soda. Simmer 20 seconds.
3. Pour over cereal mix and mix thoroughly.(place bowl in warm water to give more mix time)
4. Spread on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Cool 10 minutes. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container.
