| 2 cups | sifted flour |
| 1 cup | shortening |
| 2 | beaten eggs |
| 1 cup | brown sugar |
| 4 cups | quick roll oats |
| 2 cups | pecans |
| 1/2 cup | sugar |
| 1 tsp. | baking soda |
| 1 tsp. | salt |
| 2 tsp. | cinnamon |
| 4 Tbs. | milk |
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Sift flour with baking soda, salt, and cinnamon into vowel. Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, shortening, beaten eggs and milk. Mix well then stir in oat and pecans. Drop by round teaspoons 2" apart and bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
